I have endometriotic cysts, should I remove them surgically before undergoing IVF ?

If you are suffering from endometriosis and wish to have a baby , please do not undergo surgery to “ treat “ your endometriosis. Surgery to remove endometriosis growths can reduce your ovarian reserve. If your aim is to have a baby, find a doctor who will help you to reach your dream , rather than do unnecessary surgeries on you. If you are advised to undergo IVF and you have chocolate cysts on your ovaries, please find a doctor who will aspirate your cysts before proceeding with ovarian stimulation. Unnecessary surgery reduces your fertility as normal ovarian tissue is also removed along with the cyst wall, thus reducing your ovarian reserve.
